About the workshop
Crystallization and scale-up is a perpetual challenge in the pharma industry. After the success of the last 4 editions, Treffen Media is organizing the “5th Crystallization Workshop” with focus on Solid-state challenges in pharmaceutical crystallization in Mumbai on the 5th of November 2025. - Former Member of Teva TAPI Global R&D Management (Chemistry Division)
- 27 years of experience in the field of characterization/analysis of polymorphs and physical properties of active ingredients, API process development, regulatory and patent registration.
- Inventor of Atorvastatin (LIPITOR) and Sofosbuvir (SOLVALDI) and supervised on Nilotinib HCl (TASIGNA), Afatinib dimaleate (GILOTRIF) and Valsartan Sacubitril (ENTRESTO)
- Responsible for writing dozens of patents in the field of polymorphism.
- Author of a chapter in the book: “Solid State Development of Pharmaceutical Molecules. Salts, Cocrystals, and Polymorphism” Wiley, November 2021
